Some of Nepal’s most well-known educationists, academicians, and scholars founded Sagarmatha Multiple College (SM College) in 2057 (2000). Educators and administrators who support the Progressive Change in Education lead the team. Degree in BCA with affiliation to Nepal’s oldest university, Tribhuvan University. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Science is the heading of the BCA program. BCA is already a great program and its primary goal is to produce IT professionals who are pioneers for various IT positions, such as software engineers, database developers, network engineers, system administrators, network security experts, QA analysts, system analysts, and IT managers.

Eligibility to study BCA
- Students interested in studying BCA should have at least D+ grade in each subject in the +2 mark sheet from any faculty.
- They should pass the TU entrance exam of BCA for sure to study it.
Course structure
A total of 126 credit hours are required to complete the BCA curriculum. The following table shows the distribution of computer subjects over the four semesters.
- First Semester: Computer Fundamentals and Applications, Society and Technology, English I, Mathematics I, and Digital Logic
- Second Semester: C Programming; Financial Accounting; English II; Mathematics II; Microprocessor and Computer Architecture
- In the third semester, you’ll learn about: data structures and algorithms; probability and statistics; system analysis and design; object-oriented programming in Java; and web technology.
- In the fourth semester: Software Engineering, Numerical Methods,Scripting Language, DBMS Operating System, Project I
- In the fifth Semester: MIS and E-Business • DotNet Technology • Computer Networking • Management Introduction • Computer Graphics and Animation
- Sixth Semester: Advanced Java Programming, Mobile Programming Distributed Systems, Applied Economics, Network Programming and Project II
- Cyber Law, Cloud Computing, Professional Ethics , Internships • Elective I • Elective II in the Seventh Semester
- Electives in the 8th Semester include Operations Research, Project III, and Elective IV.
