Many students who want a career in information technology choose the Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program. This program is run by Ojashwi College, which is affiliated with Tribhuvan University. The program lasts 4 years and is broken down into 8 semesters. As Nepal’s IT industry expands, so does the demand for computer professionals. Because of the rapid expansion of the IT industry, many new job opportunities have opened up for recent computer graduates.
Objectives of BCA Program
Students will understand how to improve solutions for information system needs and problems in commercial, financial, government, or other organizations.
Providing information on various software development tools, concepts, and methods.
Preparation of students for careers in dynamic and constantly evolving software development fields.
Developing sound communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Providing a strong foundation for further study leading to the degrees of MCA (Masters in Computer Applications), MIT, MS Computer Science, and MBA (Master of Science in Business Administration).
Eligibility
Students interested in studying BCA should have at least D+ grade in each subject in the +2 mark sheet from any faculty.
They should pass the TU entrance exam of BCA for sure to study it.
