Pokhara University
Pokhara University (PU) offers a BCA program that combines information technology with management and business. BCA is a four-year program that incorporates both technical and academic components. This curriculum is meant to improve students’ business and managerial skills, as well as their problem-solving abilities. This program’s curriculum is organized according to the semester system and is divided into eight semesters in total. Students must study subjects such as English, Mathematics, Programming Logic and Techniques, Digital System, Network & Data Communication, Application, Business Communication, Programming Language, Electronics, Visual Programming, Multimedia Technology, and Multimedia Technology in order to successfully complete this degree. Project management, sales management, international marketing, international business, data mining and warehousing, and other elective topics are available to students.
Objectives of BCA Program
The major objective of this curriculum is to offer students with both theoretical and practical skills. Additionally, this curriculum assists students in properly understanding computer systems and data analysis. The following are some of the program’s key objectives:
- To develop computer science experts who are effective.
- To improve students’ abilities to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of technical problems.
- To promote lifelong learning and adapt to the ever-changing technological environment.
Eligibility
Students interested in pursuing a BCA degree must have completed +2 or an equivalent intermediate level. Candidates from any stream who have completed their education at a board or university recognized by Pokhara University are eligible to apply. When applying for admission, students must provide their academic credentials together with a fully completed application form.
